The Village Lights at Dusk
There’s something magical about a winter evening when the lights begin to glow and everyone seems to be making their way home.
Village Lights at Dusk captures the nostalgic charm of a bustling village on a snowy winter night, complete with skaters on the ice, softly lit buildings, and twinkling lights strung overhead. Loose, painterly details and a muted palette give this piece the feeling of a treasured vintage painting—one that could have been passed down and brought out with the Christmas decorations year after year.
Warm and nostalgic without feeling overly holiday-specific, Village Lights at Dusk brings a sense of gathering, tradition, and simple winter joy to your home. Style it throughout the Christmas season, then leave it up all winter long for a cozy reminder of the beauty found in ordinary moments together.
- Each piece is made to order and handcrafted in our workshop in Middlebury, Indiana.
- Each piece features a crisp print on a sturdy wood background.
- Frames are 100% pine wood and use a unique and sturdy friction lock technology. Please note that the natural quality of the wood allows for slight variation.
- No hanging hardware is included. Please see below for hanging instructions.
Please note:
- We do our best to photograph pieces true to color, but colors can vary slightly when viewed on a computer screen versus in person. We recommend referring to the review photos when available to see the piece in different settings and lighting.
- Our wooden frames are stained by hand in-house. This means that there may be some natural variation based on how the stain absorbs, the density of the wood, fading or darkening over time, etc.
- The measurements of our wall art include the frame. The measurement you select will be the finished size of your piece.
- In January 2024 we changed our staining process. We believe this change gives our finished products a more consistent stain and coloration throughout the wood. Any orders before the switch will have a darker stain finish.
-The wall art sizes 36 x 36 and 30 x 30 are subject to oversize shipping surcharges
