2016
The seed was planted
Joyfully Said began as a creative outlet in Chelsea’s garage, but as demand quickly grew, it became clear that God was at work in this passion-turned-business—leading Wes and Chelsea to expand into a space that still anchors the company today.

2017
The dream grew
Joyfully Said expanded its team of family and friends and launched joyfullysaid.com to share their signs alongside Etsy.

2018
The start of something new
Joyfully Said’s retail location was officially open to the public, situated in in the front portion of our rental workshop space.

2019
Making it our own
Joyfully Said renovated and expanded its retail space, turning the shop into a beloved community hub and opening the door for larger events and gatherings.

2020
Roadblocks as opportunities
During the pandemic, Joyfully Said nearly doubled in growth, expanded its team, welcomed customers from across the country, and marked a new chapter as Wes joined full time and the company purchased its historic Middlebury property.

2021-Present
We are Joyfully Said
Joyfully Said continues to grow by creating meaningful, handcrafted wall art rooted in faith and intention, partnering with emerging artists to offer fresh, on-trend designs alongside truth-filled words. Through community events, a weekly farmer’s market, and a welcoming retail space, the company remains deeply connected to the town it calls home.
