If you’ve ever stepped into Joyfully Said and immediately felt inspired, cozy, or at home… there’s a good chance Emily had something to do with it.
Emily has been part of Joyfully Said for 10 years as our display artist, helping style the spaces throughout our shop and bringing warmth and life into every corner. She’s also one of the familiar faces you’ve probably spotted modeling wall art over the years, too.
While she’d be the first to tell you she doesn’t love interviews, we think her heart for creativity and home shines through in everything she does:

“I’m Emily, and I do all the displays around the shop.”
For the past 10 years, Emily has helped shape the feeling of Joyfully Said through the displays she creates and styles throughout the store.
What do you think Joyfully Said exists to do?
“Make people’s houses feel like a home.”
Simple, honest, and honestly… exactly what we hope people feel when they walk into our shop or bring a piece home.
How do you think displays impact the customer experience?
“It helps people know how to display things in their homes.”
Emily has a gift for helping customers visualize how pieces can actually live in a space — layered into shelves, styled on mantles, or mixed into everyday life in a way that feels cozy and approachable.
What do you enjoy most about creating displays?
“I think it’s a gift God gave me — that I can create things out of nothing.”

“I guess the quality of our items, and we care about our customers.”
Over the last 10 years, Emily has watched Joyfully Said continue to grow — adding more products, more inspiration, and more ways to help customers create homes they love to be in.
How would you describe Joyfully Said to someone who’s never heard of us?
“A cozy home décor store.”
